Since you may only borrow three items at once, you may want to return an item early in order to make room for another checkout and to give others an opportunity to read the books.
If you'd like to return an item before the automatic lending period (14 days) ends, here's how:
1. Go to your Shelf to find the book you want to read on your Kindle.
2. Select Options.
3. Select Return.
4. Select Return.
