Race and Antiracism: Home

Your middle and high school librarians have compiled a curated list of books, videos, articles, and other resources that we hope will help our community as we all search for a better understanding of the current political and cultural moment in America.  We include non-fiction items touching on the topics of systemic racism, criminal justice, and understanding whiteness.  In addition, we've chosen fiction by black authors that center on the black experience for both middle and high school readers.

The book titles recommended are all available to the Dalton community in electronic format by clicking on their links or directly from the library catalog, where you’ll find many more great titles on these subjects.
